    Q:
How to replace the front headlight bulb on Chevrolet Metro? Posted by Customer
    A:
You should start by turning off the lamp switch then allow the bulb to reach proper cooling temperature before bulb replacement. When handling the bulb you must use eye protection while working only by holding the base section and staying away from glass contact while maintaining bulb cleanliness and dryness. Proper bulb disposal follows the use of each bulb and ensure all halogen bulbs remain beyond children's reach. You need to remove two screws that maintain the headlamp fixture. These screws have positions 1 and 7. Ray the headlamp bulb lock ring counterclockwise until it loosens before taking out the headlamp bulb from its position and detaching the bulb socket from its electrical connection. To reassemble use the electrical connector to attach the bulb socket before placing the headlamp bulb into the lamp cavity and locking the ring clockwise. Secure the headlamp back onto the vehicle with the 2 screws (1, 7) and check the headlamp setting if required.
