Begin by opening the hood then carefully use light pressure on the lens of the headlamp before moving the retainers. Pull up the headlamp retainers to unlock them and these retainers can then be taken off. Remove the headlamp mounting tabs from their places in the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement slots and untangle the electrical connector from the headlamp before pulling out the lamp unit. The installation process begins by taking off the rubber access cover(s) from behind the headlamp bulb(s) which require replacement according to the halogen bulb caution. To disconnect the bulb use a counterclockwise motion on its base before removing the bulb while also detaching its electrical connector. To install the new headlamp bulb connect its electrical connector before putting it into place while securing with bulb base clockwise rotation. Place back the rubber access covers before attaching the electrical connector to the headlamp. Place the mounting tabs of the headlamp into the slots present on the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement while carefully applying light pressure to the lens at installation time of the retainers. Assess the fit of the headlamp while you press down the retainers onto their corresponding mounting tabs until they become fully seated. Close the hood after the inspection and test the headlamp aim especially in cases where a new headlamp installation occurred or front-end service work could have affected the mounting brackets.

To replace the headlamp assembly or headlamp bulb or cornering, sidemarker, park, and turn signal bulb, start by opening the hood. Tighten the lens-to-socket attachment by placing light pressure onto the headlamp lens as the retainers are removed. Next, pop up retainers off the headlamp with a pop and take off retainers. Next, unhook the headmounts from the slots on the upper fascia support and the fender reinforcement, and separated the head lamp electrical connector from the head lamp before taking it out. Trim the rubber access covers off from the rear of the headlamp bulb/sockets requiring replacement and rotate the headlamp bulb/socket counterclockwise to remove it, while maintaining a watch for the Halogen Bulb. Caution. Afternoon, pull the headlamp bulb/socket from the headlamp and undo the electrical connector. For installation, attach electrical connector to the headlamp bulb/socket then push the headlamp bulb/socket into the headlamp and twist clockwise for seating. Install the rubber access covers, connect the electrical connector to the headlamp, and install the headlamp mounting tabs into the slots. Use a light pressure on the head lamp lens during installation of the retainers while aligning them over the mounting tabs and a firm press down for the fully seating in position. Check the headlamp for free movement and inspect the headlamp aim if a new lamp or if some service or repair has potentially affected the mounting brackets. Finally, close the hood.

You can change the Headlight Bulb after turning off the lamp switch while waiting for the bulb to cool down. Protect your eyes at all times while you must grip the bulb only at its base to prevent touching the glass. Always maintain the bulb in a clean dry state before following safe procedures for proper bulb disposal. Inspection of the headlamp retainer pins requires rotating them before extracting the pins from their housing. Examine the operating state of all headlamps and reattach the front-facing grille. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp and remove the headlamp itself.

Reinstall the rubber access covers, connect the electrical connector to the headlamp, and position the headlamp mounting tabs into the slots in the upper fascia support and the fender reinforcement.

Align the retainers over the mounting tabs and press them down until fully seated, then inspect the headlamp for proper fit and check the headlamp aim if necessary. Finally, close the hood.

Take out the headlamp mounting tabs from the slots in the upper fascia support and the fender reinforcement, and disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp.

Pull out the headlamp assembly to access the electrical connector and disconnect it.

Align the lower pins with the locating holes in the headlamp support bracket, then position the bracket onto the studs.

Pull out the headlamp assembly to access the electrical connector and disconnect it.

Reconnect the electrical connector, reinstall the headlamp assembly, and secure it with the retainer pins, rotating them to lock in place.

Install and lock the headlamp retainer pins in place.
