Saturn Ion Parts

The Saturn Ion appeared on the market in 2002 to replace the Saturn S-series before starting manufacturing for model year 2003. Both the Ion 1 and Ion 2 base versions of Saturn Ion vehicles featured the 2.2L I4 engine which generated 145 horsepower. The Ion Red Line had a 2.0L supercharged I4 motor which delivered 205 horsepower to its customers. The vehicle used a 2.0L I4 engine featuring 205 horsepower because of its supercharger. The automobile needed 6.7 seconds to reach 60 mph from a standstill. A standard five-speed manual transmission existed on the vehicle and purchasers had the choice of either that system or the optional four-speed automatic transmission. During 2005 Saturn produced the Ion with the 4T45-E four-speed automatic transmission instead of the VTi-CVT transmission that was used before. Users experienced reliable engine performance from its 2.2L Ecotec I4 powerplant that managed to match efficiency alongside output levels.
