    Q:
How to replace the front side door window channel on GMC Acadia? Posted by Customer
    A:
You should begin replacing the front side door Window Channel by first taking off the door trim panel. You must first take out two parts: the water deflector and then the door speaker. Unbolt the weather strip and run channel when you pull back its two retaining bolts until you detach it from its position on the door. Gently press and pull the weather strip/run channel as you turn it to disconnect it from its position at the top of the door frame until you can take it out of the door. Put the weather strip/run channel into the door with its tabs locked into the slots. Press the weather strip/run channel into the window frame space with attention to vital fastener procedures. Place the retaining bolts inside their locations and fasten them to 10 nm (88 ft lb) torque. Put the door speaker in first and add the window before placing the water deflector and door trim panel.
