Begin by placing the front wheels in the perfectly straight position before unlocking the Steering Wheel from the Steering Column. The lower trim cover and the upper trim cover require removal of three screws in addition to the single screw securing those parts. Next disconnect the electrical connector while untie the wire from the Steering Wheel module air bag clock spring wire. You should remove the Steering Wheel module air bag clock spring from its position at the turn signal base. Make sure to inspect both elements for physical damages during this process. A damaged inflatable restraint module air bag clock spring requires immediate replacement together with headlamp and turn signal and windshield washer switch with levers. The turn signal base should also be replaced as a single assembly. Begin installation by aligning your vehicle's front wheels facing ahead before using 4 screws to fix the Steering Wheel module air bag clock spring onto the turn signal base. Center the air bag clock spring if needed before you attach electrical connectors and secure the wire tie to the Steering Wheel module air bag clock spring wire. Return the Steering Column upper trim cover through screw insertion and the lower trim cover through three screws before reinstalling the Steering Wheel. Finally, enable the sir system.
