The first step to replacing the exhaust flexible pipe is to detach the frame brace. Start by dismounting the heated oxygen sensors (HO2S) followed by extraction of the exhaust flexible pipe to Muffler nuts . You should first use pull back motion to detach the Muffler pipe from exhaust flexible pipe studs before proceeding with Catalytic Converter to exhaust flexible pipe nut removal (1, 2). You should first detach the exhaust flexible pipe insulator which is mounted on the underbody hanger before separating the exhaust flexible pipe from the catalytic converters. The technician needs to discard the gaskets from the Catalytic Converter system. New Catalytic Converter gaskets should go onto the Catalytic Converter studs followed by attaching the exhaust flexible pipe to each Catalytic Converter. Fasten the Catalytic Converter to exhaust flexible pipe nuts (1, 2) while torquing them to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Set the flexible pipe insulator to the underbody hanger before pulling the Muffler pipe forward to link it with exhaust flexible pipe studs. We must connect and fasten the exhaust flexible pipe to Muffler nuts with a torque setting of 50 n.m (37 lb ft). It is the last step to reinstall ho2s and frame brace.

The exhaust flexible pipe replacement process requires the removal of heated oxygen sensors together with exhaust flexible pipe to muffler nuts before proceeding. Start by pulling back the muffler pipe away from the exhaust flexible pipe studs and removing both Catalytic Converter to exhaust flexible pipe nuts (1, 2). Detach the exhaust flexible pipe insulator which hangs from the underbody hanger after separating the exhaust flexible pipe from its connection to the catalytic converters. Dispose of the gaskets that protect the catalytic converters from the outside world. To install the device, users must attach new Catalytic Converter gaskets to the studs followed by connecting the exhaust flexible pipe to both catalytic converters. Screw and tighten exhaust flexible pipe nuts (1, 2) to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Fix the flexible pipe insulator to the underbody hanger and shift back the muffler pipe before linking it to exhaust flexible pipe studs. The exhaust flexible pipe needs to be installed to the muffler nuts followed by a torque setting of 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Reinstall the ho2s last.

Start by removing the right-side exhaust flexible pipe to substitute the Catalytic Converter. Begin by removing Exhaust Manifold nuts from the Catalytic Converter then disconnect the Catalytic Converter from the Exhaust Manifold. The service technician needs to dispose of the Catalytic Converter to Exhaust Manifold seal. During installation position a new Catalytic Converter to Exhaust Manifold seal on the Catalytic Converter while securing the Catalytic Converter to the Exhaust Manifold. Secure the Catalytic Converter to the Exhaust Manifold by torquing its nuts up to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). The installation of the exhaust flexible pipe should be the last step.

Reinstall the exhaust manifold heat shield.
