    To replace the Differential carrier cover and seal found at the left side i must first remove the rear Differential. Next, remove the 9 carrier cover bolts and remove the carrier cover from the Differential carrier with the pry tabs (4, 5, 7). Take out the o-ring seal from the cover. For installation, the housing cover o-ring should be put into the groove on the housing cover and it should receive a light coat of oil before installing the housing cover on the housing . Mount the 9 side cover bolts and tighten them using criss-cross pattern with 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Finally, reinstall the rear Differential.

    In order to replace the Differential carrier cover and seal on the left side one should first remove the rear Differential. Next, remove the 9 carrier cover bolts and pull off the carrier cover from the Differential carrier using pry tabs (4, 5, 7). Take off the o-ring seal from the cover. For installation, put the housing cover o-ring in the groove of the housing cover and put a drop of oil in it before casting the housing cover into place on the housing . Make certain to tighten the 9 side cover bolts in a criss-cross sequence going to 29 nm (21 lb ft). Finally, reinstall the rear Differential.

Separate the carrier by using pry tabs (4, 5, 7), while using pry tabs remove the carrier cover from the carrier and remove o-ring seal/ from the cover . For installation, insert the housing cover o-ring into the groove of the housing cover and lubricate the o-ring with a light oil coat before putting the housing cover onto the housing. Make sure to tighten the 9 side cover bolts in a criss-cross pattern to 29 nm (21 lb ft). Finally, reinstall the rear Differential.
