    Q:
How to service and repair the fan blade on Chevrolet Tracker? Posted by Customer
    A:
A technician should begin servicing or repairing the Fan Blade by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Begin by unscrewing the 4 fan nuts while removing the 4 Radiator shroud clips before detaching the Power Steering Reservoir and placing it securely to a safe area which avoids unnecessary damage to the Radiator during fan extraction. Start by moving the shroud off to the side of the engine then undo the fan from the pulley shaft before taking out the fan and clutch unit. The installation starts with installing the fan/clutch assembly to the vehicle before using the 4 clips to secure the shroud. First install the Power Steering Reservoir on its bracket then put the fan/clutch assembly onto the pulley hub. Utilize both a wrench to maintain the fan shaft position while using the other to tighten the 4 fan nuts until they measure 11 nm (97 inch lbs. Torque). The last step includes connecting the negative Battery Cable and torquing the Battery Cable bolt to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.).
