    You need the following tools for front Axle Shaft replacement: vehicle technicians need slide hammer (J2619-01), front hub spindle remover (J28733-B), extension (J29794), and Axle Shaft remover (J33008) to accomplish front Axle Shaft replacements. Slide hammer (J2619-01), front hub spindle remover (J28733-B), extension (J29794), and Axle Shaft remover (J33008). You should start by unlocking the wheel's hub cap before using a socket wrench to unscrew the front Axle Shaft nut. Position the vehicle on stands for support. Afterward remove the tire combined with the wheel. First detach the brake caliper/bracket and rotor before disconnecting the front wheel speed sensor connector and extracting the front Axle Shaft bearing. Moving the vehicle with one or more drive axles uninstalled poses safety risks of bodily harm and chassis damage to both you and your automobile. Use the Axle Shaft remover (J33008), extension (J29794), and slide hammer (J2619-01) to remove the right side front axle from its transaxle position. Use a screwdriver to examine the front Axle Shaft retaining ring positioning by tapping its inner groove area then verify the inner housing extends outboard without touching the Axle Shaft. Installation of the new front Axle Shaft nut follows front wheel speed sensor connector reattachment. Install initially the needed parts in this order: wheel and tire followed by brake caliper/bracket and rotor. Use the correct fasteners at their proper positions before tightening the front Axle Shaft nut to a torque of 215 nm (159 ft. Lbs.). Inspection of transaxle fluid level must occur before Wheel Cover installation while filling fluid to appropriate levels.
