    Begin the front side door outside handle replacement process by positioning the window at full up and detaching the door trim panel. Remove the outside Door Handle rod by opening the retainer at the door latch and remove the access plug that contains the door screw and the screw holding the outside Door Handle cap. To start remove the cap through the slightly open Door Handle then utilize the counterbalance weight to rise the outside Door Handle before rocking and sliding it toward the rear of the door. The first step consists of sliding backward the outside Door Handle bracket after removing its gaskets followed by removing the handle rod from this bracket. Begin handling by attaching the handle rod to the outside Door Handle bracket followed by slotting the bracket and moving it forward into position. The gaskets should go in first followed by the procedure of raising the outside Door Handle counterbalance weight and finally installing the handle by rocking it outboard until it reaches the bracket while sliding it toward the back. The cap installation requires you to gently extend the Door Handle before attaching the cap using a screw and restoring the hidden outside Door Handle cap screw access plug. Use the rod to link the handle with the latch by placing the rod inside the clip that attaches to the Door Latch Assembly. Then shut the clip. Inspection of proper Door Handle and lock cylinder operation should happen before adding the water deflector and the door trim panel. Fix the water deflector followed by the door trim panel installation.
