    The replacement process of compressor hose assembly starts with refrigerant recovery. Disconnect the Evaporator a/c compressor hose clip first and then remove the a/c compressor hose to accumulator nut before releasing the a/c compressor hose from the accumulator. Cut the clipping on the frame rail A/C Hose before using the hose bolt to remove the compressor hose from the condenser. To pull the hose successfully from the vehicle disconnect the a/c pressure sensor electrical connector and remove the a/c compressor hose to a/c compressor nut. Place the a/c compressor hose within the vehicle then attach it to the compressor prior to installation. The A/C Hose needs installation to the compressor nut before applying torque until it reaches 30 n.m (22 lb ft). After connecting the a/c pressure switch electrical connector you must install the a/c compressor hose at the condenser which must be fastened with an a/c compressor hose bolt tightened to 24 n.m (18 lb ft). To replace the damaged clip find a new one after which you should place the a/c compressor hose through the clip on the frame rail for fastening. You should connect the a/c compressor hose to the accumulator after tightening the accumulator nut to 24 n.m (18 lb ft). Wrap up the procedure by installing the upper a/c compressor hose clip followed by a/c system recharge then conduct a leak test on component fittings using the halogen leak detector j 39400-a.
