    You must begin by disassembling the air cleaner before loosening the master cylinder mounting nuts. Shift the master cylinder and valve assembly away from studs on the booster until the brake pipes stay undamaged during the process. First take off the vacuum hose from its connection to the vacuum check valve before removing the Brake Booster mounting nuts. Pivot the Brake Booster slightly while disconnecting the pushrod from the Brake Pedal since the pedal assembly has a retaining clip and washer . Install the new Brake Booster onto the vehicle and position the inner washer correctly on top of the Brake Pedal. Place lithium grease on the Brake Pedal pushrod pin and slowly attach the Brake Booster pushrod to the pedal by tilting the booster downward. Position and fasten the Brake Pedal outer washer and retaining clip followed by torqueing the vacuum Brake Booster mounting nuts to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs). Place the vacuum hose back on its connection to the check valve. Move the master cylinder and Brake Proportioning Valve installation onto the Brake Booster studs before installing its mounting nuts with a torque value of 20 ft. Lbs. Reinstall the air cleaner at the end of the installation.
