    Starting the Hood Latch replacement requires step one in which you insert a screwdriver to free the hood release cable through the clip mechanism followed by cable housing removal from the latch. The process begins with removing the primary latch support bolts that attach to the Radiator before extracting the primary latch combined with its bracket from the vehicle and proceeding to detach the bracket from the latch. Before mounting the bracket to the latch keep the fastener notice in mind for referencing. Secure the primary latch onto the bracket bolts keeping the tightness at 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Put the primary latch and bracket on the vehicle but do not fasten the securing bolts. Install the primary latch support bolts to the Radiator before setting the latch position through adjustment until matching the hood striker pins. Lift the hood before securing the bolts that fasten the Radiator support to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). A suitable tool must be used to crimp the cable clip that attaches the hood release cable to the latch and after which verification of hood operation should be conducted.
