    Q:
How to Service and Repair the Wiper Motor on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before replacing the wiper motor set the wiper arms to the 1/2 wipe position then switch off the ignition key. Start by taking off the wiper arms after which remove the air inlet grille panel and finally remove the wiper transmission. Separate the wiper motor crank arm ball stud from the transmission link by using the Wiper Linkage Separator (J 39232). The wiper motor requires removal of its fasteners on the frame assembly before extracting it from the system. Position the motor onto the wiper transmission frame after which secure the bolts with 9 N.m of torque (81 lb in). Multi-Purpose Lubricant along with Superlube and GM P/N 12346241 (Canadian P/N 10953474) or equivalent should be used to lubricate the socket. Screw in the transmission drive link socket into the wiper motor crank arm ball using the Wiper Linkage Installer (J 39529) tool before placing the wiper transmission back to the plenum.

    Q:
How to replace the wiper motor on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
After setting wiper arms in 1/2 wipe position you need to switch off the ignition. Turn off power at the ignition before you detach the wiper arms, air inlet grille panel, and wiper transmission. Connect the Wiper Linkage Separator part J 39232 to split the transmission link from its ball contact on the motor crank arm. Take off the wiper motor fasteners from the frame assembly and extract the wiper motor. Put the wiper transmission frame first before installing the wiper motor onto it and then secure the bolts with proper sequence while tightening them to 9 N.m (81 lb in). Apply Multi-Purpose Lubricant GM P/N 12346241 or equivalent to the Wiper Linkage Installer (J 39529) before putting the transmission drive link socket onto the wiper motor crank arm ball. Fasten the wiper transmission assembly to the housing at the proper position.

How to replace the windshield wiper motor on GMC Canyon? Posted by Customer
    A:
If you want to put in a new wiper motor you should place the wiper arms at half position first followed by turning off the ignition key. First remove the wiper arms to lay the air inlet grille panel. Sever the wiper transmission from its position. Insert the Wiper Linkage Separator J 39232 between the transmission link and wiper motor crank arm ball stud. After splitting these components, detach the wiper motor fasteners from the frame assembly and remove the motor. Place the wiper motor over the frame transmission and fasten it using the proper mounting bolt sequence before tightening bolts to 9 Nm (81 lb in). Before mounting the wiper motor attach Multi-Purpose Lubricant or equivalent Superlube to its socket. Place the drive link socket assembly to the wiper motor crank end ball with the Jkuk010j and connect the wiper transmission to the plenum.
