Window Motor

A replacement of the front door Window Motor should start with removing the trim cover from the front side Door Armrest. Two screws must be removed to separate the front side door trim panel. Proper snap ring removal requires a cloth combined with extracting the front side door window regulator handle. A taped flat bladed instrument can be used to carefully remove the front side door accessory switch mounting plate from the front side door trim before disconnecting front side door window or lock switch electrical connectors (2, 3). Remove both the front side door accessory switch mounting plate and the plastic retainer which maintains the front side door trim from its place. Proceed by completing the front side door inside handle removal steps which follow the Door Handle replacement instructions until the front side door trim can be removed. Reattach the front side door trim to the door by slotting the plastic retainers completely before using the plastic retainer to fasten it in place. Reinstate the front side door inside handle while attaching the front side door window or lock switch electrical connectors (2, 3) if present and securing the front side door accessory switch mounting plate to the trim. The front side door window regulator handle snap ring should be installed onto the front side door window regulator handle before attaching the regulator handle to the door. Install the trim panel over the front side Door Armrest while fastening it using 2 screws.

Gently pry the rear side door window switch bezel from the rear side door trim using a taped flat bladed tool.
