    The procedure to replace the front side door Window Motor starts with removal of the front door trim panel along with the front door water deflector. Open the window above the operating height and expose bolts (1, 2) and remove them from window-regulator alignment. Secure the window with tape across its entire opening and maintain full upward position. Pull out the tab from the power Window Motor electrical connector to disconnect it. The front door Window Motor must be removed before pulling out the regulator along with motor through the entry point in the internal panel. The Window Regulator needs the power Window Motor bolts to be taken out first. Secure the power Window Motor bolts to the Window Regulator while torquing them to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Proceed by inserting the front door Window Motor through the access opening followed by installation of the regulator and motor. You must first push in on the tab of the power Window Motor electrical connector before removing the masking tape. You should drop the window just enough to insert the bolts (1, 2) but secure these bolts at 10 n.m (89 lb in) tightness. The installation process ends with window functionality inspection along with reinstallation of the front door water deflector and assembly of the front door trim panel.

Separate the power Window Motor bolts from their mounting position on the Window Regulator. Start the installation by fastening power Window Motor bolts to the regulator before tightening them to 6 nm (53 lb in). Install the Window Regulator and motor into the access opening after which attach the electrical connector to power Window Motor. The masking tape removal allows access to lower the window until the bolts (1) and (2) become visible to install. The bolts require tightening to 10 nm (89 lb in) during their installation. Secondly inspect the window for proper operation before replacing the front door water deflector along with the front door trim panel.
