    The first step for replacing front seat cushions requires removing the front seating element. If the seat cushion supports a front seat belt buckle electrical connector it requires plastic retainers to be detached before proceeding. You need to remove four bolts which hold the seat cushion in place to the seat adjusters at positions 2 and 4. After flipping the front seat you must remove its seat cushion from the seat adjusters. The seat cushion assembly should be fitted by first placing it back onto the seat adjusters. Read and apply all procedures presented in the Fastener Notice section of Cautions and Notices. It is now time to reposition and fasten the 4 bolts (2, 4) which join the seat cushion to the seat adjusters through torquing them to 35 N.m (25 lb ft). The front seat belt buckle electrical connector needs to be connected to the seat cushion after which plastic retainers will protect this connection before the front seat is reinstalled.
