Tighten the 3 fasteners that connect the filler pipe to the filler pocket up to 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). The next step should be to install the fuel filler door release actuator retaining nut by applying 3 n.m (26.5 lb in). Then stuff in the fuel cap while finishing up by closing the fuel inlet door.

Place the fuel filler door release actuator retaining nut tightly at 3 n.m (26.5 lb in) then set the fuel cap and close the fuel filler door.

The fuel tube cover goes into its fender well position before the fill hose receives the fuel fill tube clamp which should be tightened at 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Secure the bottom of the vehicle then install the fuel fill tube into the fuel fill well by using the attaching screws and tighten them to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). After fueling the tank install the fuel fill cap on top.
