Start the replacement of the fuel tank filler pipe housing by opening the fuel filler door and removing its fuel cap. Start the repair by unscrewing the fuel filler door release actuator to the pocket then remove its four fasteners followed by unfastening the pipe retaining three fasteners. You can uninstall the fuel filler pocket by pulling the release cable in the backward direction. Shortly after positioning the fuel filler pocket behind the door latch by pulling on the release cable you must fasten its 4 retaining fasteners to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Tighten the 3 fasteners that connect the filler pipe to the filler pocket up to 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). The next step should be to install the fuel filler door release actuator retaining nut by applying 3 n.m (26.5 lb in). Then stuff in the fuel cap while finishing up by closing the fuel inlet door.

Begin replacement of the fuel tank filler pipe housing by opening the door then removing the fuel cap. Commence replacement by first eliminating the fuel filler pocket higher nut that fastens the actuator and afterward unscrewing the 4 pocket retaining washers and then the 3 filler pipe fasteners. The procedure requires you to detach the fuel filler pocket by pulling the release cable rearward. Reposition the fuel filler pocket behind the door latch by pulling the release cable toward the rear once more before installing the 4 fasteners to secure the fuel filler pocket and tightening them to 2 n.m (18 lb in). You need to install 3 fasteners that will secure the filler pipe to the filler pocket by screwing them to 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). Place the fuel filler door release actuator retaining nut tightly at 3 n.m (26.5 lb in) then set the fuel cap and close the fuel filler door.

Draining the Fuel Tank should be the first step when replacing the Fuel Filler Hose. Start by removing the fuel fill tube attaching screws from the fuel fill well before raising the vehicle. The first step to replace the Fuel Filler Hose starts by taking out the fuel fill tube cover located in the fender well. Then separate the fuel fill tube from the fuel fill hose by removing its chassis attaching bolt. The operation begins by attaching the new fuel fill tube both to the fuel fill hose and to the fuel fill well followed by installing the fuel fill tube bracket onto the chassis while tightening the fuel fill tube attaching bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in). The fuel tube cover goes into its fender well position before the fill hose receives the fuel fill tube clamp which should be tightened at 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Secure the bottom of the vehicle then install the fuel fill tube into the fuel fill well by using the attaching screws and tighten them to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). After fueling the tank install the fuel fill cap on top.

Afterward, lower the vehicle, add fuel to the fuel tank, and install the fuel fill cap.
