Window Regulator, Rear Passenger Side

The replacement of the rear door window regulator requires you to remove both rear door trim panel and rear door water deflector first. A sufficient window raise will allow access to the window peg retainer where you should detach the nylon peg that connects the rear door window to the regulator. Safety tape crosses the window opening from top to bottom while the window stands in full elevation. Disconnect the electrical connector before removing the regulator motor bolts through which you can lift the motor to remove the retaining bolts. The next step involves removing bolts from the rear door window regulator before removing it completely from the door. Place both rear door window regulator and motor into the door frame according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Mount the regulator bolts before torquing them to 10 N.m (89 lb in) while observing the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Reestablish the electrical connection followed by tape removal from the window then decrease the window opening to enable door window insertion. The two bolts holding the rear door window regulator should be installed before you tighten them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). The last step includes reinstalling both the rear door water deflector and the rear door trim panel.

Disconnect the window from the window regulator carrier plate, then position the window fully up and tape it to the window frame.
