    The front Crankshaft Seal repair process requires the first step to separate the negative Battery Cable. Start the task by removing both the Crankshaft Pulley and the Timing Belt. A screwdriver should be used to pull the crankshaft front oil seal out. Before installing the new crankshaft front oil seal you must apply chassis grease gm p/n 1051344 that is equivalent to seal it. Use a hammer to tap the oil seal gently until it lies perfectly flat beside the crankshaft front oil seal retainer edge. Put the Timing Belt along with the Crankshaft Pulley back into place after finishing the installation. After connecting the negative Battery Cable users must tighten the bolt to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.) before starting the engine.
