    Q:
How to replace the rear car speakers on Chevrolet Monte Carlo? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the rear speaker requires that you remove the rear window trim panel. Remove the speaker retaining tab by disengaging it first then remove the speaker alignment tabs from the opening in the rear window panel. You should gently pull the housing away from the shelf metal by holding the speaker retaining tab while performing this procedure in cases where the speaker seal has bonded to the metal. After disconnecting the electrical connector from the rear speaker users can proceed to remove the speaker. Plug in the electrical connector to the back speaker before setting the speaker unit against the rear window panel. The speaker alignment tabs must be placed within the opening on the rear window panel followed by engaging the retaining tab of the rear speaker. Reposition the rear window trim panel during the last installation step.
