Reposition all the interior pieces that were taken off the vehicle.

Starting the front door striker replacement requires removing the interior trim pieces if they block access to the striker nut. Attach the new striker to the door, ensuring the narrow part on the wedge plate points toward the rear of the vehicle.

Remove the two nuts from the striker, followed by the insulator and the striker itself.

Reinstall the water deflector and the trim panel.

First, remove the bolts that retain the striker and then take the striker out of the vehicle.

Tighten the striker bolt to 67 N.m (49 lb ft).

Remove the right hand body side trim panel.

Reinstall the right hand body side trim panel.
