The Cruise Control Switch should be discarded next. The first step in installation requires installation of the Cruise Control Switch followed by the Steering Wheel trim cover. Secure the Cruise Control Switch with screws at 6 n.m (53 lb in) of torque. Start by placing the Steering Wheel rear trim cover screws then secure each screw with 6 n.m (53 lb in) torque. After torqueing the Steering Wheel electrical harness grounding screw to 6 n.m (53 lb in), secure the electrical harness connector retainer clip to the Steering Wheel trim cover before putting back the Steering Wheel into the vehicle.

After that, remove the Cruise Control Switch. For installation, one can start by installing the Cruise Control Switch and then the Steering Wheel trim cover . Screw in the Cruise Control Switch to a torque of 6 n-m (53 lb in) and tighten the Steering Wheel rear trim cover screws torque to 6 n-m (53 lb in). Next, fasten on the Steering Wheel electrical harness grounding screw and tighten to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Connect the electrical harness connector retainer clip to the Steering Wheel trim cover, and lastly re-install or place back the Steering Wheel onto the car.

Screw the Cruise Control Switch with screws that are tightened to 6 n.m (53 lb in); after that, the screws for the Steering Wheel rear trim cover are tightened to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Replace the Steering Wheel electrical harness grounding screw with the same torque, replace the electrical harness connector retainer clip to the Steering Wheel trim cover and finally remar k the Steering Wheel onto the vehicle.
