    Q:
How to replace the hazard warning switch on Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement of the hazard warning switch requires an initial removal of the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad then detachment of the air distribution duct and the center air outlet from the IP upper trim pad. You must first detach the retaining tabs from behind the air outlet then gently pull to take out the hazard warning switch that allows the button to detach from its position. Position the hazard warning switch at the rear side of the center air outlet then press it to fix in place. You should reinstall the center air outlet followed by the air distribution duct onto the IP upper trim pad. To finish the installation position the hazard warning switch button correctly onto its switch and push to lock it down. You must place the switch into the off position and after that install the IP upper trim pad.
