    Q:
How to replace the rear side door window Weather Strip on Chevrolet Lumina? Posted by Customer
    A:
The procedure for installing a new rear side door window weather strip begins with removing the trim panel then removing the energy absorber pad followed by the water deflector. The first step requires removal of the inner belt sealing strip before taking off the window. After you detach both the outer belt sealing strip and the rear door window weather strip screw you can remove the rear door window weather strip from the door aperture. The installation process requires placing the new rear door window weather strip onto the door before fastening it with the window weather strip screw and tightening to 6 N.m (53 lb in). The door frame should receive the remaining window weather strip before window reinstallation and outer belt sealing strip application. Begin by putting the inner belt sealing strip then proceed with the installation of water deflector followed by energy absorber pad and trim panel completion.
