    Start the windshield frame weather strip removal process by unlocking both driver and passenger doors and lowering the folding top of the vehicle. The initial process begins with removing both left and right window filler panel appliques and then continues with the windshield upper garnish molding removal. Start by loosening the windshield weather strip screws on the frame then gently pull up on the weather strip to free the windscreen retainer. Use a screwdriver to unscrew weather strip windshield screws from each upper corner of the frame after lifting the corner flaps to reach the screws. Remove sealant residue from areas where the windshield weather strip attaches to its retainer. Start the installation by screwing down the left and right upper frame corner screws to the windshield frame using 2.5 Nm torques (22 lb in). Install the windshield weather strip to the upper windshield frame retainer by screwing it into place along the inside edge of the frame using 2.5 Nm torque. The windshield upper garnish molding should be reinstalled together with the left and right window filler panel applique. The sealing process finishes when you check the weather strip and windshield frame fitment rather than the door closure.
