Start by removing the heater/defrost valve vacuum actuator through unclipping it and then undo the hvac module case upper screws to separate the hvac module case. The Evaporator core extraction requires the hvac module seal removal from the lower case followed by core extraction and disposal of lower seals and upper seal alongside side seal and water core filter. The installation requires attaching new Evaporator core seals together with a new side seal and new upper seal and two new lower seals to the Evaporator core. Put the hvac module seal into the lower module case and position the Evaporator core inside this assembly. Apply the retaining clip before installing the upper and lower hvac module case while securing the hvac module case screws at 1.5 n.m (13 lb in). Begin by installing the heater/defrost valve vacuum actuator and then put on the air inlet housing before tightening its screws to 1.5 n.m (13 pound inches). The final stage includes placing the hvac module.
