How to service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2000 Buick Century?

Before servicing the mass air flow (MAF) sensor shut off the ignition. Remove the electrical connections for the intake air temperature sensor and the Mass Air Flow Sensor. First remove the maf sensor and Throttle Body intake duct and then extract the maf sensor from the air filter housing. First place the maf sensor inside the air filter housing then reconnect both the air inlet duct to the maf sensor and the Throttle Body. Start the engine after connecting the iat sensor electrical connector to monitor idle speed as you check for any leaks in the air intake duct.
