How to service and repair the rear sway bar link on 2000 Cadillac Catera?

Start the Sway Bar Link rear service and repair by using j6627-a tie rod/wheel stud puller to separate the Sway Bar Link bolt from the rear lower Control Arm followed by detaching the link from the Control Arm. Application of silicone spray on the sway bar end requires a liberal amount of spray for lubrication purposes. A j6627-a tie rod/wheel stud puller should have its shims installed and then used to push off the link from the sway bar when rubber bushing separation occurs. Before linking the sway bar perform surface cleaning to enable smoother insertion of parts while using silicone spray for lubrication purposes. Following installation of the link over the sway bar you should proceed to attach it to the rear lower Control Arm. Install link bolt into position before tightening it to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.) afterward, lower the vehicle from its position.
