The first step requires removal of the Sway Bar Link bolt which secures the rear lower Control Arm before proceeding to remove the link. The sway bar end must receive silicone spray treatment before using the j 6627-a tie rod/stud puller (J 6627-A) to prevent the rubber bushings from detaching from the link. Press off the link from the sway bar by using the j 6627-a. A systematic cleaning process of the sway bar/link mating areas should precede reassembly because it improves installation ease and protects the bushings. The sway bar needs silicone spray application before the link assembly onto the shaft and attachment to the rear lower Control Arm. First install the link bolt before tightening it to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.) then return the vehicle to the floor.
