Start engine mount strut replacement by taking out the bolt which extends through the strut from the core support along with any bracket attached to the core support. The engine mount torque struts must stay free of preload when they are installed into their position. You must leave the bolt attaching the strut to the core support bracket loose while assembling it because adjustment is possible at that point. Tighten the bolt to 78 nm (58 ft. Lbs.) before finishing the engine mount strut assembly process.
