How to service the oil filter on 2000 Cadillac Eldorado?

First, to service the Oil Filter, lift and support the vehicle. Screw the oil drain pan underneath the engine oil Drain Plug, and remove it. Check and the engine oil Drain Plug, fix it in case of damage or change the oil if necessary later on and remove the Oil Filter. Fill new Oil Filter with oil and lubricate the replacement Oil Filter gasket with clean oil prior to installation. Replace the new filter, tighten the Oil Filter to 32 nm (24 ft. Lbs); and replace the engine oil Drain Plug with a tightness of 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs). Lift up the vehicle and securely place the oil drain pan. Fill the engine with fresh engine oil. Lastly, check for oil leaks when the engine starts being run, and check the oil level.
