Oil Filter

An appropriate lifting system needs to raise and support the vehicle before beginning the engine oil and Oil Filter replacement. Start by taking out the oil pan Drain Plug before letting all engine oil empty out completely. Secondly replace the old Oil Filter with the new one then proceed with the next steps. Be attentive to all fastener operations to safeguard the vehicle from damage. Reinstall the oil pan drain bolt while torquing it to a value of 26 nm (19 lb ft). The process starts with lowering the vehicle while filtering engine oil to reach its correct measurement. To finalize the task start the engine and check for any fluid leakage.

The vehicle needs support before engine oil and Oil Filter replacement work can start. Set an oil drain pan under the engine oil Drain Plug before removing it. Check and clean the engine oil Drain Plug before replacement and examine the Oil Pan sealing surface while conducting repairs or acquisitions of a new Oil Pan. Delete the Oil Filter before inspecting the adapter's sealing portion for damage. Replace those components if necessary before fitting the new filter and securing it with three-quarters to one full turn after the gasket makes contact. Install the new Oil Filter by filling it with oil and applying a small amount of clean oil to the gasket which should be tightened to 3/4 to 1 full turn after proper contact is achieved. Open the Drain Plug of the engine oil before tightening it to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Check under the vehicle while lowering it and add fresh engine oil to the tank before using a leak detection process after the engine starts.

Replacing engine oil and Oil Filter requires raising the vehicle followed by supporting it. Place the engine oil drain pan beneath the Drain Plug then unscrew and remove the plug. First conduct cleanings and inspections of the Drain Plug before replacing it when necessary alongside assessment of the Oil Pan sealing surface to decide whether repair or replacement of the Oil Pan is required. Install the engine oil Drain Plug and tighten it with 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Steep down vehicle and replace engine with new engine oil and check for oil leakage after the engine starts.

Secure the ignition off position before using a six-point socket to remove the Oil Filter cap but notice that normal draining oil will come out of the Oil Filter chamber in the Oil Filter adapter housing so the adapter does not need replacement during this process. After removing the old Oil Filter cartridge users should lift the vehicle at a suitable height. A suitable drain pipe should be placed at the bottom of the oil pan Drain Plug before removing it to allow complete drainage of the oil. Mount the oil pan Drain Plug after draining the liquid using a new o-ring seal along with torque setting at 20 nm (15 lb ft). Install the new Oil Filter cartridge to the vehicle by lubricating its cap threads with clean engine oil before tightening it to meet specifications. A six-point socket must be used to install the Oil Filter cap which needs to get tightened to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Complete the installation of the oil fill cap while adding the correct oil type according to the fluid and lubricant recommendations and approximate fluid capacities specifications.

In order to change the engine oil and Oil Filter, lift and hold the automobile, place the Oil Pan under the engine oil Drain Plug and remove the plug. Clean and inspect the engine oil Drain Plug and replace it if there is a need and clean and inspect the sealing surface on the Oil Pan and fix or replace the Oil Pan if necessary. Then, push out the Oil Filter and after that come out for cleaning and inspection of the sealing area of the Oil Filter adapter, maintaining it or replacing it in case of defect or damage. Refill the new Oil Filter with oil and dab the gasket with clean oil while putting in the new Oil Filter, then tighten it 3/4 to 1 full turn after the gasket meets the mount. Reinstall the engine oil Drain Plug and tighten it to 20nm (15ft. Lbs), lift the vehicle, place the engine with new engine oil, and finally, check for oil leakages irrespective of switching the engine.

Use a suitable drain setup under the oil pan Drain Plug to let all the oil drain off. Install the new o-ring seal into the oil pan Drain Plug while tightening it to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Afterward lower the vehicle to install the new Oil Filter cartridge. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the filter's oil cap threads before you install it to avoid damaging the threads while also making sure you can remove it properly. A 6-point socket should be used to install the Oil Filter cap while tightening it to 25 nm (18 lb in). The next step involves putting the oil fill cap on before adding engine oil of the right type along with the correct amount then returning the front compartment shield if needed.

The first step for engine oil and filter replacement requires vehicle elevation with remove of the oil fill cap. Start with oil drain operations using a suitable container to collect oil from the pan Drain Plug before using a suitable wrench to extract the Oil Filter from its position while watching for the filter's seal. Begin by cleaning the Oil Filter housing followed by application of engine oil on the new filter's seal before installing the filter with torque at 17 nm (22 ft. Check the oil level again using the indicator followed by oil addition if required while inspecting for possible oil leakages.

The first step to replace engine oil and Oil Filter is lifting and supporting the vehicle. Set a suitable drain pan directly under the Oil Pan Drain Plug before unscrewing it for complete engine oil drainage. Wash and evaluate the oil Drain Plug sealing area of the Oil Pan before changing the Oil Pan if needed; clean the Drain Plug hole before tightening the Drain Plug to its proper torque. Earnestly fasten the Drain Plug of the Oil Pan to 26 n.m then take away the drainage pan from beneath the automobile before raising it. Start the engine and check for any liquid leakage after filling the motor with proper fluids according to specified capacity standards. Allow the engine to idle while the oil drains from the filter down into the pan for several minutes. You should clean the tube opening with paper or cloth before resetting the oil level indicator in its place. Allow the handle to reach the tube's upper edge during the reinstallation step. Use the tip of the oil level indicator to check oil levels again while maintaining the indicator in this position. Check and maintain the oil level by adding oil through the drain or by draining if needed then do a leak inspection.

Begin engine Oil Filter replacement by taking out the oil fill cap while raising the vehicle. Drain the oil by beginning with the removal of the oil pan Drain Plug while you collect it in a proper container and make sure to inspect the old Oil Filter for any evidence of engine block seal presence. You need to implement a proper wrench tool to detach the Oil Filter while you also eliminate oil residue from the Oil Filter housing walls. Before installing the new Oil Filter you need to apply clean engine oil to the filter seal and tighten it to 17 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) together with a torque angle of 150°. Lightly oil the replacement oil filter gasket with clean oil.

Take out the filter (100) and the lip ring seal (101) from the case only if replacement is necessary.

Use a six-point socket to install the oil filter cap, tightening it to 25 Nm (18 inch lbs.).

Place the drain pan under the oil filter and remove the oil filter, allowing the oil to drain completely.

Install the engine oil drain plug and tighten it to 20 Nm (15 lb. ft.).

Check for oil leaks.

Clean and inspect the drain plug, replacing it if necessary, and clean and inspect the sealing surface on the oil pan, repairing or replacing the oil pan if needed.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Repair or replace it if necessary.

Fill the engine with new engine oil.

Lower the vehicle and fill the engine with new engine oil, checking the approximate fluid capacities and lubricant recommendations.

Clean and inspect the plug for any necessary replacements.

Tighten it to 20 N.m (15 lb ft) and then lower the vehicle.

Inspect for oil leaks and verify the oil level.

Adjust the oil level by adding or draining oil, and check for oil leaks.

Install the oil pan drain plug and a NEW O-ring seal, tightening it to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

Reinstall the front compartment sight shield as necessary.

Clean and inspect the drain plug, replacing it if necessary, and clean and inspect the sealing surface on the oil pan, repairing or replacing the oil pan if needed.

Install the NEW oil filter cartridge, ensuring to lubricate the threads of the oil filter cap with clean engine oil before installation.

Use a 6-point socket to remove the oil filter cap.

Tighten it to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

Shut off the engine and inspect the oil filter and drain plug areas for leaks.

Clean any dirt around the oil pan drain plug area and position a suitable drain pan underneath.

Apply clean engine oil to the NEW oil filter gasket and install the NEW oil filter, tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in) plus an additional 150 degrees.

Remove the oil drain pan, lower the vehicle, and fill the engine with new engine oil.

Start the engine and inspect for oil leaks, then turn it off and allow the oil to drain back into the pan.

Attach the filter to the cap and then install the oil filter cap with the filter.

Use a 32 mm (1 1/4 in) socket or an oil filter wrench to tighten it until fully seated, without exceeding 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

Allow the oil to drain back into the oil pan for a few minutes.

Ensure the engine oil is at the proper level (7 quarts with the oil filter full) and fill if necessary.

Raise the vehicle to support it securely.

Use a suitable wrench to remove the oil filter, ensuring that the filter seal is not left on the engine block.

Lower the vehicle and fill the engine with oil to the appropriate mark.

Wipe any excess oil from the oil filter drain deflector, then tighten the oil pan drain plug to 26 Nm (19 lb ft) and remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.

Lubricate the new oil filter seal with clean engine oil.

Wipe any remaining oil from the drain plug hole and reinstall the drain plug until snug.

Fill the crankcase with the appropriate quantity of engine oil.
