Reinstall the Drain Plug of the oil pan with a new o-ring seal and tighten it to 20 nm (15 ft lbs). The installation of the new Oil Filter cartridge should be done after setting the vehicle at its lowest point. Use clean engine oil to treat the Oil Filter cap threads before installation while tightening it to 25 nm (18 inch lbs.) with a six-point socket. You must place the engine oil fill cap before adding the correct amount and type of oil into the engine.
