  A: To change the engine oil and Oil Filter, one first lifts and supports the vehicle. Position the oil drain pan underneath the engine oil Drain Plug and unscrew that and clean it and inspect it to see if it needs to be replaced or not. Clean the sealing surface of the Oil Pan and fix or replace it if necessary. Secondly, take out the Oil Filter and cleanse the sealing spot at the Oil Filter adaptor, repairing or replacing the same as required. Fill the new Oil Filter with oil and apply some clean oil to the gasket and install the new Oil Filter tightening it about 3/4 to 1 full turn after the gasket comes into contact with the surface.
