How to replace the right engine mount bracket on 2002 Cadillac DeVille?

The first step to replace the right Engine Mount bracket is to lift and sustain the vehicle and remove the right front wheel. A suitable jack should support the engine assembly as technicians remove the nut which connects the right Engine Mount to the right Engine Mount bracket. The engine needs a slight downward adjustment after the jack is lowered before you disassemble the right Engine Mount bracket by removing the 4 attaching bolts and Power Steering Hose nut. A mechanic should position the right Engine Mount bracket into place on the engine then bolt it using 4 bolts which should get tightened to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Screw the power steering pressure hose to the right Engine Mount bracket using the nut and torque it to a value of 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). Position the engine correctly and fasten the nut for securing the right Engine Mount to the right Engine Mount bracket until torque reaches 80 nm (59 ft. Lbs.). Use the engine support jack to end the operation by removing it then install the right front wheel before lowering the vehicle.
