A suitable drain pipe should be placed at the bottom of the oil pan Drain Plug before removing it to allow complete drainage of the oil. Mount the oil pan Drain Plug after draining the liquid using a new o-ring seal along with torque setting at 20 nm (15 lb ft). Install the new Oil Filter cartridge to the vehicle by lubricating its cap threads with clean engine oil before tightening it to meet specifications. A six-point socket must be used to install the Oil Filter cap which needs to get tightened to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Complete the installation of the oil fill cap while adding the correct oil type according to the fluid and lubricant recommendations and approximate fluid capacities specifications.
