As the first step of Oil Filter and seal replacement begin by taking off the Oil Pan together with its gasket. Start by extracting filter (100) and lip ring seal (101) from the case only when replacement is needed. Check the Oil Pan and filter for foreign materials that include metal particles and clutch facing material as well as rubber particles and engine coolant while seeking their source of contamination to correct it properly. To replace the oil seal start with the new seal (101) before installing the filter (100) then reinstall both the gasket along with the Oil Pan .
