In order to substitute the SIR Front End Discriminating Sensor, you have to initially shut down the SIR system. Take off off road skid plate, where fitted. Unattach the sensor harness, unplug the sensor and fix any broken mounting holes or fasteners. Install a new sensor, screw the mounts back on, re-plug the harness and activate the SIR system.
