How to Service and Repair the Crankshaft Seal on 2000 Cadillac Escalade?

In order to service the crankshaft main bear seal, take out the transmission assembly and flywheel. Relax the oil pan and remove the rear oil seal crankshaft. Install the new seal using the installer then assemble again by reconnecting the oil pan, reconnecting the flywheel and lastly the transmission assembly.
