How to Service and Repair a Body Emblem on the Z28 Rear End Finish Panel on 2000 Chevrolet Camaro?

Before working on the body emblem mark its position with a strip of masking tape. Position the emblem/nameplate with a tape strip. Heat the emblem using J 25070 Heat Gun (J 25070) in rotative movements for half a minute. Use a plastic flat tool to safely pull off the emblem/nameplate from the rear bumper fascia. Wash the rear fascia with soap then dry it fully before eliminating tack sticks with neat oil-free solvent. Keep the adhesive side of the emblem/nameplate free from contact during application. Mark 164.0 mm (6.46 in) from tail lamp outer edge to emblem edge and 16.0 mm (0.63 in) from bottom bumper edge to bottom emblem edge. After removing the emblem/nozzle backing apply it to these locations. Seal the emblem/nameplate by connecting it to the taped guideline.
