Carefully pry off the emblem/nameplate from the door panel using a plastic flat-bladed tool. Clean the fender with soapy water and allow it to dry, scrubbing off any residue of the adhesive with oil-free naptha or alcohol. While putting in the new emblem/nameplate avoid touching the adhesive backing. Upon removal of the backing from the emblem/nameplate, measure 51.5 mm (2.03 in) from the front edge of the door to the rear edge of the emblem/nameplate and 32.0 mm (1.25 in) from the bottom edge of the emblem/nameplate to the top edge of the molding. Lastly, position the emblem/nameplate to the tape guideline and attached securely.
