A mechanic needs to eliminate the clutch Pressure Plate and driven disc before starting engine Flywheel replacement. The vehicle repair specialist should use the Flywheel holding tool (J 37096) to maintain Flywheel stability while removing its bolts. When the vehicle features a manual transmission continue by taking off the Flywheel bolts before removing the entire Flywheel. Begin installation of the Flywheel by first installing it then torquing the Flywheel bolts with finger pressure. Use the Flywheel holding tool (J 37096) as you tighten the bolts when holding the Flywheel. Steer the Flywheel bolts to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.) then apply the torque angle meter (J 36660-A) to perform an additional 50-degree torque on the bolts. Reinstall both the clutch Pressure Plate together with the driven disc.
