Start by using the lock plate compressor (J 23653-D) to detach the Steering Wheel and subsequently remove the upper and lower shrouds. To begin disassembly separate the wiring harness straps from the steering column wiring harness before removing every retaining ring. Remove the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module coil which is inside the Steering Shaft. Start installation by fitting the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module coil onto the Steering Shaft before reinstalling both rings and straps of the wiring harness. Return the Steering Wheel before enabling the sir functionality.
