    A: You need to begin by removing the hvac module prior to extracting the Heater Core. The next step involves removing both the Heater Core case shroud screw and shroud. Then use screw and Evaporator core brackets to take out the Evaporator core. The Heater Core case shroud screw must be detached first before removing the shroud and then removing the Evaporator core with its brackets and screws. Before installing the new Evaporator core you must add appropriate amounts of refrigerant oil to it before moving on to the installation. Screw and bracket the Evaporator core along with tightness set at 1 n.m (9 lb in). Proceed to reinstall the Heater Core case shroud and then its screws with a 1 n.m (9 lb in) torque specification before installing the Heater Core and completing with the hvac module.
