How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2000 Chevrolet Impala?

Start by uninstalling the left Rocker Arm cover before moving to remove the right Rocker Arm cover. After the upper Intake Manifold extraction you must remove the lower Intake Manifold. Start by removing the rocker arms and pushrods followed by the Lash Adjuster guide bolts and Lash Adjuster guide. Put the Lash Adjuster(s) in a separate container before you clean all gasket surfaces and valve train parts. Check both lash adjusters and cam lobe surfaces for wear patterns. After returning each Lash Adjuster to its native position install the Lash Adjuster guide(s) and bolts. Proceed through the following installation steps: reinsert rocker arms and pushrods, and then install lower Intake Manifold before final installation of upper Intake Manifold. Place the original Rocker Arm covers onto their designated positions: right and left respectively.
