Removal of driver side sound insulator and electrical connection is needed to service the brake light switch. To remove the brake switch, 90 degree counter clockwise turn of the brake switch. To install the switch, attach the switch, stretch the brake pedal and lock it, reconnect the electrical connector and replace the sound insulator.
