Service or repair work on Radiator hoses has to begin with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable then draining and recovering the coolant until the target hose is fully exposed below its position. The service begins with removing both battery and tray before disconnecting the inlet hose from Radiator and Thermostat Housing and then removing the engine inlet hose from the Radiator and Water Pump. Line up reference marks between hoses and Radiator to stop Radiator fitting from straining since this could cause either cracking or breaking. The installation process requires you to link the engine inlet hose between the Radiator, water pump and surge tank before connecting the Radiator inlet hose to the Radiator followed by the Thermostat Housing. Screw the bolt to 16 nm (12 ft. Lbs.) tightness before reconnecting the negative Battery Cable. The system needs water addition while checking for any leaking components.
