Start by removing the trailing arm-to-knuckle bolt with its washer and bushing then proceed to take out the trailing arm-to-body bolt. Detach the trailing arm from its position within the body structure. Start the installation process with the trailing arm-to-knuckle bolt followed by the washer and bushing, then torque the bolt by hand. Your next step should be to both attach and bolt the trailing arm to the body . Tighten the trailing arm to body bolt to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.) Install the trailing arm-to-knuckle bolt with washer and bushing then torque the bolt to 69 Nm (51 ft. lbs.) after applying 120 degrees rotation. Finally, lower the vehicle.
