  A: The first step to service the Flywheel begins by removing the transaxle from the engine before removing both the Pressure Plate assembly and Clutch Disc. The replacement of the Flywheel should happen when cracks or excessive wear or damage appear on the ring gear or the surface that meets the Clutch Disc. Begin by marking the Flywheel engine alignment before loosening and removing both Flywheel retaining bolts and the Crankshaft Flywheel as well as the bushing from the Flywheel. Thorough cleaning must occur on all portions of the Flywheel facing externally. To install the clutch pilot bushing into the Flywheel use the Flywheel holder (J 35271) while aligning the marks and placing the Flywheel onto the Crankshaft.
